New SIMRAD Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) released to market

The SIMRAD EK80 Scientific Echo sounder confirms its position as the leading instrument for measurements of aquatic ecosystems. The new EC150-3C transducer provides state of the art current velocity and back scatter measurements from the split beam echo sounder with physical oceanographic measurements from the ADCP beams, all in one single instrument. Other features include easy synchronization of ADCP and EK80 scientific echo sounder, Wide band capability, Built in sphere calibration of echo sounder, Auxiliary sensor data integrated in the data files such as heave, pitch, roll,GPS, sound speed and temperature.
